Lee-Wen's

Journey to Coaching

It’s my success as a senior leader in Fortune Global 100 companies, as well as my experiences as a mentor and speaker, that cultivated my passion for executive coaching. I bring the wealth of my professional knowledge, my experience in turning my cultural heritage into a strength, and my coaching mindset to inspire business leaders in achieving the height of their careers.

Two key learnings led me to where I am today:

1. Conquering Cultural Challenges. Originally from Taiwan, I struggled with my own personal challenges in adapting to different cultures and finding my voice within what seemed, at times, bewildering corporate environments. I realized I needed to understand the U.S. business world and extend beyond my Eastern culture to become unapologetically ambitious, courageous and confident. With the guidance of mentors, I integrated the best of the east and west and became comfortable with my own global ID.

2. Embracing a Coaching Mindset. I began my leadership journey as a traditional manager, relying on my technical expertise to run a tight ship with a controlling and scrutinizing style. While I was effective, I unwittingly cultivated a stressful environment with employees afraid to make mistakes. When the CEO asked me to lead an enterprise-wide digital transformation and reshape the IT organization, in response to my uncertainty about needing IT experience, he saw more in me, “You may not know IT, but your people do.” With the support of executive coaching, I began embracing a new mindset, and fully empowered my staff to optimize their potential and established rapport across staff and management. The IT team flourished and we successfully transformed within one year.

What Executive Coaching Taught Me

With the guidance of coaching, I shifted my mindset and heightened my self awareness, which gave me the personal growth I needed to polish my executive presence and accelerate my career. It was on my coaching path that I recognized the importance of managing oneself—my own energy and attitude—so that I can take care of others.

My New Path

Now, I want to give back and pay it forward to the next generation of leaders. Depending on your needs, I combine coaching, mentoring and training to offer a truly immersive and tailored experience (learn Why Coaching Works).

My Commitment to You

Within a collaborative partnership, I will bring out your best and commit to your personal transformation, empowering you to identify your blind spots, think beyond you comfort zone and build confidence to achieve your own authentic success
