Success Stories

Confidence is to respect yourself and tell the truth.
Andrew Horn
A client sought to further his leadership strength. Despite being highly respected for his dedication, results and quality work, senior leadership felt he did not embody the confidence needed to effectively express himself strategically and efficiently, particularly in large meetings.
During a two-month coaching journey, I supported my client in recognizing an unconscious, inherited mindset and behaviors that created confusion and tension at work. I supported him in formulating the skills and techniques to shift this, which he put into practice until they became second nature.
Within four coaching sessions, this executive began receiving positive feedback from the CEO and co-workers. With a noticeable, tangible shift in carrying himself with strong confidence and a positive attitude, he is now positioned to advance as a serious C-Suite contender.
Senior Director, Professional Services Firm
Given lackluster team dynamics, low morale and limited funding, a newly appointed regional CEO needed guidance in leading and restructuring her larger, more complex organization.
In the initial coaching phase, I guided my client in recognizing the need to adjust her leadership and communication style, shifting her mindset from that of a quarterback to a coach. What worked for her previously was not relevant to her new role.
With my support she designed a new delegation approach, established a new executive team and re-prioritized funding allocations. She also learned to embrace her strengths—finding her purposeful voice as a visionary leader and centering her energy on strategic opportunities ahead. Impressed with the results, my client expanded Phase II of our coaching engagement to include her key staff members.
CEO, Non-Profit Organization
Faced with the need to reduce her workforce by 30% due to an impending merger, my client sought a strategic partner to ensure a thoughtful execution. She had worked hard to build a strong team and struggled with the road ahead.
Throughout our three-month coaching journey, I redirected her emotional resistance from what it meant for the team she had built, to what was in her control. It was important to shift her mindset to consider what was best for her team. Together we evaluated her team members and as she made the difficult decisions, I supported her in mentally and physically preparing for the challenge ahead.
Afterwards, she struggled to emotionally recover following the layoff period, facing horrible nightmares. With transparent dialogue, I helped guide her out of the guilt to return her focus on her role as a leader. She turned her attention to charting a course for her remaining team to thrive with confidence despite the uncertainty of a post-merger integration.
Vice President, High-Tech Industry
Despite having an impressive background and strong work history, my client had spent a year seeking employment. Her confidence shaken, she worried about ageism and although having received outplacement coaching and being well prepared, grew increasingly frustrated in knowing her interviews were simply not going well. After I gained an understanding of her challenges, I supported her in adjusting her thinking to recognize her strengths and value.
Drawing on insights gained in our sessions, she re-positioned her resume and began approaching interviews with a newly inspired executive presence, bringing a sense of power and confidence into the conversations. After finding a company that felt like a perfect fit, she nailed her interviews, negotiated smartly and landed the top role in her field with a higher compensation package then her last position.
